Visitor Code of Conduct

We are committed to creating a safe, respectful and inclusive experience for students, visitors and staff.

Our gallery is a place where everyone has a right to an environment free of discrimination and harassment. Harassment includes behaviour that is unwelcome and that a reasonable person would consider offensive, intimidating or humiliating.

We will not tolerate behaviour that is discriminatory, offensive, abusive or threatening. Intrusive comments of a personal nature directed at our staff are not acceptable.

Anyone exhibiting these behaviours will be asked to stop or to leave. If there are safety concerns, staff will call University Security and, if appropriate, emergency services.

This Code of Conduct is aligned with the University's policies and applies to all visitors.

Group Visits

Large groups are always welcome to visit the Potter. For any questions about visiting with a group, please contact us by email potter-info@unimelb.edu.au.

Storage

Lockers are available on the basement floor, free of charge. Large items can be cloaked at the front desk.
