karu kin is a BE. Collective special project led by Grace Dlabik as part of a BLAK C.O.R.E Mordant Family Fellowship at the University of Melbourne. Connecting indigenous women and non-binary folk through clay making using memory, embodiment, nurture, nourishment and connection. karu kin invited you to view the cyclical nature of the materials used in this project, from raw clay, and traditional practices, to shared experiences within community.

Participants of this project included Kaiit Waup, Aminata Diallo, Leilani Turner, Leilani Fuimaono, Kara Kupe, and Tavao Fa’avae-Eli.
